Survivalinsight.com was founded in late 2008 by Jon Boyd Barrett. Jon previously ran an online retail store, which went out of business in response to the global financial crisis. After much time searching the web for help and ideas on what steps to take next, Jon realized that there needed to be one website providing all the information needed in order to combat this recession, and similar economical situations that may arise in the future.
