It was at the age of 14 that Jon Boyd Barrett was introduced to the world of energy healing. His mother had recently become a Reiki master and so decided to do what any Reiki master/mother would do; give her children a Reiki attunement. During this attunement, Jon opted to do what many trying-hard-to-be-cool teens might do in such situations; feign interest and pass the whole thing off as weird. Yet the seed had now been planted, and some 10 years later Reiki, along with EFT, would become an integral part of Jon's life, enabling him to help himself and others in ways that he never could have expected.

Having moved to Los Angeles from his native England at the age of 18, Jon originally began studying and working in the fields of audio engineering and music composition. Although this suited him for some time, Jon's increasingly growing interest in matters or self-discovery and the body’s energetic structure eventually became his way of life. As Jon began to uncover the real self hidden beneath all of the false and counterproductive beliefs that he had developed over the course of his life, he became aware of not only his own true potential, but also the incredible potential within everybody. Jon knew then that it was time for a career change.

As well as Reiki and EFT, Jon began to intensely study everything that interested him; the chakra system, archetypes, yoga, qi gong, tai chi and various meditative techniques. Meanwhile, he started to become much more aware and sensitive to the flow of people's energy fields, realizing he was able to intuitively pick up the issues causing energy blocks in himself and others.

Jon now uses his skills to channel the powers of Reiki and his ability to maximize the effectiveness of EFT, to calmly help unleash the true potential of his clients and to bring them peace and healing where possible.
