You simply have to write and submit an article, then start earning. It is not difficult to make money this way, but it will require a certain amount of hard work and dedication.

If you are new to writing articles, eHow is a good place to start. The instructional step-by-step format that you are required to write in is easier to follow than on some of the other websites. The article starts with a paragraph intro, and then step-by-step instructions, teaching the reader how to do what you have chosen to write about. At the bottom, you can add tips and warnings. The suggested article length is 400 - 600 words. One drawback with eHow is you are restricted to only writing about how to do something.

Submitting Articles to Associated Content and Helium
Once you feel comfortable with writing in the step-by-step instructional format, the next step is to begin submitting for sites such as Associated Content and Helium. The format is free flowing, and the articles tend to be longer and more detailed. Here, you are not restricted to instructional writing. You can write about whatever you like, whether it be history, politics or anything else.

As stated above, your pay will mainly come down to the amount of traffic your articles generate. The ultimate goal is to be able to create a passive income from all the articles that you have written.
